Sport & performance

Sport enables every human being to develop their full potential in everyday life. Whether physical or mental, professional or private, sport has two main phases: training and recovery. These two main phases are divided into a succession of regular, progressive and complementary sessions. In other words, never one without the other! Every sporting discipline calls on physical muscular skills, but also - if not even more so - mental sporting skills. And that's where hypnosis comes in!

The role of hypnosis in sports coaching

In just a few years, hypnosis has carved out a place for itself in the accompaniment of athletes from the casual to the elite. Hypnosis is a tool used in sport to help overcome obstacles, improve performance and enhance recovery and well-being. Conventional coaching is highly effective on its own, but when you add hypnosis to the mix, it takes on a deeper, more precise dimension. Working with your unconscious mind, you'll be able to harness all your physical and mental capacities to create a cocktail for sporting success.

How can hypnosis help you with your sporting activities?

The hypnotherapist's support in sports coaching will boost the athlete's confidence and improve his or her mental and muscular condition, particularly before competitions where these elements become essential to sporting success. The hypnotherapist's suggestions will help the athlete to relax, which in turn will promote a sporting state of mind based on calm and confidence.

In sport, sports injuries are known to be neglected, poorly cared for or simply mentally poorly healed. So it's vital that sports injuries, whether mental or physical, are healed in their entirety.

Some extreme sports injuries can lead to sports bereavement. Sports grief is not something to be taken lightly. Hypnotherapy can help you get through the grief and prevent this event from turning into a block, anxiety, tics or any other sign of mental or physical disturbance. The hypnotic suggestions of your mental coach will accompany the healing of body and mind, so that you can enter a new phase of your life.

    How many sessions are required?

The number of sessions varies according to your needs. Depending on the athlete's prerequisites, a single session may be enough to achieve satisfactory results. But it can also take longer, requiring regular follow-up sessions. Each athlete istreated individually, and it's during the first session that we'll be able to discuss the next session or regular follow-up.
