Post-traumatic edema
As part of the treatment of any physical trauma, edema reduction plays a central role. Manual lymphatic drainage can help reduce post-traumatic and post-surgical edema, and is ideal for reducing swelling and bruising after cosmetic surgery.
In the case of haematomas, manual lymph drainage should be performed as soon as possible. Even large hematomas can be drained in just a few prolonged treatment sessions.
