Ygrek has been active on the Geneva graffiti scene since the late 90s. Always on the lookout for originality and differentiation, he carried out stylistic research into typography, before turning to urban fencing as a new artistic medium in 2010.
Known today for his "grids", which he produces with scotch tape, Ygrek uses grid lines as pixels for his graphic creations. A cross between graffiti and typography, his work can be seen from Paris to Berlin, via Brussels, Milan, Zurich and Lisbon. He then carries out photographic research to immortalize his work.
